background		I have been a web application developer since 1996. I have a portfolio demonstrating ample experience as an effective developer and project manager. My work includes both consulting projects and commercial web applications that are sold by an online software retail company that I own. My applications are used every day by hundreds of thousands of users in various different languages across the world. My full-time job for the last decade has been to design and implement commercial-quality web applications from start to finish with little or no supervision. I personally provide technical support to my customers so I do not have the option of creating crude or confusing user interfaces. My projects are frequently maintained and extended by other engineers after my involvement has ended so I keep my life easier by producing simple and elegant architectures and well-documented code.
